Open-Deck Freight

Flatbed Dispatching

Flatbed trailers are open, walled-less decks used for freight that's too large, heavy, or oddly shaped for an enclosed trailer — steel coils, lumber, construction equipment, and machinery. Loads are secured with straps, chains, and tarps rather than being enclosed, and loading/unloading is typically done from the top or side with a crane or forklift.
